Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport. You will drive southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic drive includes a stop at the Uganda Equator for some photos and a brief break. You will have lunch in Mbarara town and then continue to Bwindi, arriving in the evening. You will check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today is the highlight of your safari! After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You'll be assigned to a gorilla family and a guide, and then you'll begin your trek into the forest. The hike can be challenging, with thick vegetation and steep slopes, but the reward is immense. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one unforgettable hour with them, observing their behavior and taking photos. After your time with the gorillas, you will trek back to the headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificate. You will return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest, dinner, and overnight.
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your return journey to Kampala. You'll have lunch in Mbarara and continue the drive back, arriving in Kampala in the late evening. You will be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location, concluding your memorable Uganda gorilla tour.
