After an early breakfast, you’ll head into the lush rainforest for your chimpanzee trekking experience. Led by an expert Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) guide, you'll track a habituated community of chimpanzees. Rise early for a classic African game drive in the Kasenyi plains. This is your chance to spot lions, elephants, leopards, and buffaloes. Prepare for a full-day journey to the home of the mountain gorillas. The 3-4-hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes you through the stunning Kigezi highlands, often called the “Switzerland of Africa.” We'll stop for lunch in Kabale before reaching your lodge on the edge of the mystical forest.

This is the day you’ve been waiting for. After a briefing, you will set off into the dense Bwindi forest with your guide to find a gorilla family.
