Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport. You will be transferred to Kidepo Valley National Park. The long but scenic drive includes a stop in Gulu for lunch. You'll pass through Kitgum and Karenga, enjoying views of the rugged Mulongole Mountains. You will arrive in Kidepo in the late evening, check into your lodge, and have dinner.
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and have an early breakfast. You'll then head out for an early morning game drive in the Narus Valley. This area is known for its high concentration of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. The "lion rocks" are a prime spot to search for lions and leopards. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will visit a nearby Karamojong community. This is a unique opportunity to interact with the local people, learn about their cultural practices, traditional dances, and even purchase some handmade crafts. You'll return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After a final early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala. You'll have lunch en route in Gulu town before continuing the long but scenic drive. You will be dropped off at your preferred location in Kampala in the late evening, concluding your unforgettable safari.
