Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our guide. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred to your booked hotel in Kigali for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the adventure ahead.

Following an early breakfast, we will journey to the Western Province. En route, we will visit the Royal Palace Museum and the Ethnographic Museum to explore Rwanda's rich history and traditional culture. After an en route lunch, we'll arrive at Nyungwe National Park for a relaxed afternoon.

Today's main event is a thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience in Nyungwe's natural forest, which is home to 13 primate species. After a briefing, you will enter the forest and spend a dedicated hour observing the chimpanzees. The afternoon is for relaxing or an optional visit to a local tea plantation.

This morning, enjoy the exhilarating canopy walk, a 70-meter suspended bridge offering a treetop perspective of the Nyungwe forest. Afterward, we will transfer to Gisenyi, cruising along the stunning Kivu belt with panoramic views of Lake Kivu and the Congo side. You will spend the afternoon at leisure by the beach.

Start the day with a boat ride to explore the beautiful islands of Lake Kivu, a popular spot for birdwatching and known for its bat-harboring islands. We will then drive to Musanze, a town near Volcanoes National Park, and visit the renowned Diane Fossey Institute before settling in at our lodge.

The pinnacle of your safari awaits! After a morning briefing, you will enter the jungle to search for the elusive mountain gorillas. Today, we'll embark on a less strenuous but equally exciting golden monkey trekking adventure. You will get to spend an hour with these playful primates. Afterward, we'll return to Kigali, with time permitting, we can visit local markets and the Kigali Genocide Memorial before heading to your hotel.
