Itinerary

Day 1 Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your adventure begins bright and early! Our expert guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at 7 AM sharp. Settle in for a scenic 8-hour drive southwest to Bwindi, with exciting stops along the way. Capture stunning photos at the Equator and enjoy a hearty lunch in Mbarara. Arrive in Bwindi National Park by early evening, where you’ll unwind with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp.

Day 2 Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Fuel up with breakfast before heading to the National Park Headquarters for a briefing. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you’ll trek through dense rainforests and climb steep trails in search of mountain gorillas.

Prepare for an emotional, once-in-a-lifetime moment as you come within meters of these gentle giants, observing their daily routines in the wild. With only about 880 mountain gorillas left globally, this rare encounter is a true privilege. After your trek, return to the lodge to relax or explore with an optional guided forest or community walk.

Note: Gorilla tracking can be strenuous, with treks lasting up to six hours at high altitudes. While sightings aren’t guaranteed, the success rate exceeds 90%!

Day 3 Return to Kampala/Entebbe
